Heads of parliament committees´ secretariates, representatives of the The Verkhovna Rada Secretariate, home and foreign experts participated in the seminar organized by the The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate jointly with the Institute for Legislation and the Regulations, Deputy Ethics and Work Organization of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee with the support of the Program for Ukrainian parliament assistance and the Representative Office of The Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Ukraine.
Yuriy Yasenchuk, Deputy Chief of the The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate, has informed about the realization of recommendations expressed by the participants of the previous seminar, which had been held on the beginning of February of current year.
Seminar participants have attended several lectures on the ways of strengthening of the efficiency of cooperation of parliamentary committees with the masses. Particularly, doctor Ferdinand Bitz, Director of the Bureau for Deutsche Bundestag apparatus´ work organization has told about the experience of parliamentary committees in involving masses into legislative process.
Oleksiy Sydorenko, Chief of the Department of computerised systems of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate, has informed about substantial increase in the number of prepared committees´ web-sites since the previous seminar owing to common efforts of the Department and secretariates of parliamentary committees.
Andriy Snihach, Chief of the secretary of the Regulations, Deputy Ethics and Work Organization of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee, has informed about the functioning of the Committee´s web-site and stressed that its use for society informing has eliminated a lot of questions previously asked by the citizens.
